The individual is expected to shoulder the following responsibilities:
Understand the business objectives and translate those to sales initiatives
Develop and execute on sales strategy to drive business growth through hunting. This would include defining the target segment, design the service offerings, craft the right messaging, choose the channels for delivery of the content and understanding prospect needs through a virtual/in-person meeting.
Create account level roadmap and mine existing accounts.
Plan and manage marketing roadmap/efforts to drive business growth.
Provide detailed Sales Forecasting, sales budgets and build/manage a pipeline to fuel growth.
Review existing systems and processes set up for new Business development and farming. And suggest changes if needed.
Training/Mentoring of inside sales team to build a strong pipeline of Prospects.
Creating presentations, proposals, estimations, contracts, driving POCs.
Drive creation of marketing content such as White papers/Blogs/Campaign Messages/Webinars etc. This could be done individually or taking help from SMEs or Technical team, depending on the subject area.
Validate the solution approach, estimations and ensure alignment with business objectives of the prospects.
Traveling as required to US or any other market.
Experience and Skills
Minimum experience should be 10+ where as Sales/Pre-sales experience of more than 5+ years. Experience of about 2-3 years in software development/delivery would be a significant advantage.
Ability to coordinate with delivery teams, marketing team and inside sales team.
Ability to talk and understand technology while being able to articulate business objectives and/or challenges of the prospects.
Experience in working with ISVs and SIs
Excellent communication skills with Clarity in thought Process.
